Local Wedding Venues: Lindsay Street Hall

Rebekah & Ryan Pipes: 10.6.12

It may have taken Rebekah and Ryan a few years to finally meet – Rebekah knew who Ryan was in high school, but they didn’t officially get together until after college – but once they did, it didn’t take them long to know they wanted to stay together.

After that, everything else seemed to come with ease. Rebekah and Ryan settled on Lindsay Street Hall for their wedding venue and she says they couldn’t have been more fortunate in their choice.

“It was actually the only place we looked at,” Rebekah says. “We just knew right away that nothing else would compare!”

They loved what Rebekah calls the “church effect.” Converted from a church, the hall is a striking architectural piece, with gorgeous stained glass windows and high ceilings, but outfitted perfectly for events. “They know how to do weddings and they offer a wonderful package.”

In the capable hands of Stacey Crisp and the entire Lindsay Street Hall staff, the ceremony and reception came together perfectly. “Their all-inclusive package handled everything!  All I had to do was make my choices. They really helped me not to stress and to be able to enjoy my day so much better!”

Rebekah walked through the glowing room in her perfect dress from Ever After Bridal. After the ceremony, guests were invited outside where tables were set up with wine, and a huge TV broadcast a Georgia game. Ryan is a huge Georgia fan and even his cake celebrated his team: formed to be a perfect culinary model of Sanford Stadium.  While guests mingled and watched the game, event staff flipped the ceremony room for the reception: setting up tables, chairs, and an elegant food line.

The hall was decorated in Rebekah’s colors of deep purple, silver, and dark orange. Gerber daisies, Asiatic lilies, calla lilies, and roses made a garden of color throughout the space, while pumpkins added a unique autumnal touch.

“It was perfect! Everything was exactly as we had hoped and we were free to enjoy our day together!”
