A Loving Spirit

Before you even walk through the door of this home, you’re greeted with a sense of vibrant charm, a loving spirit, and wonderful character. The front door – a French antique from the 1800s – is an original, featuring an authentic letters slot, ornate iron on window panels, and a center knob.

Stepping through the door, you’re hit with a cheery, welcoming entryway. Turquoise blue and lime green accents pop against warm neutral walls and antique heart pine hardwood floors. Two upholstered chairs in a subtle blue and green pattern with lively lime green pillows serve as inviting resting spots. Botanical prints in gold frames hang on the entryway walls, and gold accents are found in floor and wall lamps dressed in white drum shades. Two blue and green plaid ottoman poufs rest under the entry’s wooden console table and coordinate with the turquoise rug.

Beyond the entryway is the kitchen and seating area, decorated in a similar turquoise blue and lime green palette. Antiques mixed with new pieces from Nell’s make up most of the furniture in the house. In a celebration of the seasons and a love for family, seasonal accessories are sprinkled throughout the space and are changed up regularly. Calacatta gold marble sweeps the kitchen countertops for a splash of elegance amidst the charming and inviting home.
