The unexpected combinations help balance this edgy aesthetic, ensuring that it feels welcoming and happy. With a lovely English-style garden just outside the room’s patio doors, this area is meant to be a continuation of the garden. A daring turquoise sofa detailed with green piping counterweights quirky armchairs in unique fabrics – one a light floral print, the other an adventurous green cut velvet tiger stripe. A custom pink washes the walls in a calming shade, allowing statement pieces to push and pull the eye with deft expertise toward scads of visual interest. A custom blue console is topped with a stunning custom, antiqued mirror which is adorned with an antique floral sconce and reflects the garden outside. The rug is a work of art in its own right and pairs perfectly with the modern Italian glass coffee table, which allows an unobstructed view of the rug.
