This beautifully balanced bathroom marries the best of old and new. The traditional toe kick valance and the scalloped-edge backsplash communicate a classic elegance, while the contemporary bathtub helps modernize the space to keep it fresh and current. The cabinetry paint finish was chosen for its timeless quality – a soft creamy white that’s not too bright – which pairs well against the transitional door style, featuring a slender bullnose applied molding profile that elevates a simple shaker door into something unique and modern. The built-in niches balance the room out while adding functional storage space for towels and toiletry items. Underneath the left niche is a hidden hamper for dirty towels, and the sinks each contain a tilt-out tray to keep small items such as toothbrushes off of the counter. Rounding out the design are two scalloped vanity mirrors flanked by bronze wall sconces that nail the transitional look with radiant flair.
