Connected by a mutual friend through social media, Hannah Claire and Connor Rytz met when Connor reached out to ask Hannah Claire to go on a dinner date. The couple fell in love with the idea of a romantic outdoor wedding, and they knew it was meant to be when they found their dream venue at Hidden Springs. They married on October 6, 2023.

“When we visited the venue, we didn’t want to leave,” says Hannah Claire. “It’s gorgeous, quiet, and peaceful. We wanted the romantic outdoors in our wedding, and I love the look of Hidden Springs year round, but especially in the fall. If it wasn’t a wedding venue, we’d probably try to buy it to live there.”
Before the evening ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour inside the barn to wait out some unexpected rain. With dry seats ready and guests having had a bite to eat, Hidden Springs staff ensured the outdoor ceremony followed seamlessly, and then guests headed back to the barn for the reception.
The party continued with DJ music, dinner, and a delicious spice cake with cinnamon apple filling. With plenty of room to enjoy conversation and dancing, the reception space allowed Hannah Claire and Connor to make the most of their big day with their loved ones.
The décor of the evening, specially curated by Hidden Springs, reflected the newlyweds’ love for the outdoors. White, green, and warm copper colors tied in perfectly with the romantic fall theme. Each table was named after a hike the couple had done together, and floating candles and greenery made for stunning centerpieces.
Special memories for Hannah Claire and Connor include exchanging private vows at the dock, getting ready with their closest friends and family, and a meaningful prayer from Hannah Claire’s Mammaw. For their send-off, guests created a sparkler tunnel, and the couple drove off in a white jeep.
The day was full of sentimental and fun moments for the happy couple. From retreating down the aisle as a married couple to dancing the night away, the evening was everything they could have hoped for. “It was such a fun, high-energy night, and I finally got the sparkler exit of my dreams!” says Hannah Claire. “We had a blast!”

How He Proposed
“We hiked the Jump Off trail. When we made it to the top, our best friends were hiding with cameras. He paused once he got down on one knee, and I had to ask him if he was going to ask me the question! He had my mom, sister, and best friend from college waiting at the bottom of the hike. He planned a surprise dinner party for that night with all of our friends.
It was the sweetest day.”
