Between the decorations and gatherings with friends and family, it’s hard not to feel joyous during those special times of year … and then there’s the food and drinks – festive and tasty tokens that take the celebration to a whole new level. Here, area establishments share several show-stopping cocktails so that you too can impress guests with your cheerful creations.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup ice
  • 2 oz. pineapple juice
  • 1 oz. coconut cream
  • 1 oz. blue curaçao
  • 1 oz. coconut rum

Instructions
 

  • To create the white layer, add ½ cup of ice, pineapple juice, and coconut cream to a blender and blend until smooth.
  • For the blue layer, combine remaining ½ cup of ice, blue curaçao, and rum to a blender and blend until smooth.
  • To serve, roll the rim of a hurricane glass in corn syrup followed by coconut flakes, and layer blue and white mixtures for desired effect.
  • Garnish by adding whipped cream, blue rock candy, and a blue sour belt strip.

Spiked Horchata cocktail with cranberry cinnamon garnish

Ingredients
  

  • 1 oz. rich cinnamon syrup
  • 1.5 oz. RumChata Cream Liqueur
  • 1.5 oz. Herradura Añejo Tequila

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice and give it a hard shake for 10 seconds.
  • Strain into a glass with fresh ice.
  • Top with fresh grated nutmeg and grated Abuelita Mexican chocolate.
  • Garnish with a cinnamon stick, sugarcoated cranberries or raspberries, and a piece of fresh mint.
