Clean and Classic

For this kitchen, designed by Christy Forester Pettus of Classic Cabinetry, the goal was to create a vintage-inspired space. Neutral-colored maple cabinets lining the perimeter of the kitchen are painted antique white and finished in a distressed heirloom to contrast beautifully with the dark espresso-stained maple wood island. Open counter space on the island is ideal for entertaining friends as well as preparing and serving meals. The custom-designed hood with espresso-stained wood moldings, the focal point of the space, is both functional and artistic.
