Ten-foot floor-to-ceiling cabinetry makes excellent use of space in this contemporary kitchen. With pull-out spice and utensil drawers, custom-corner cabinet drawers, and a built-in coffee station, these cabinets were carefully designed to help keep the countertops clear. Made of hickory wood, the cabinets are stained a custom driftwood tone that shows off the beautiful wood grain. The modified shaker-style doors and polished chrome hardware add a contemporary style to the natural color of the cabinets. Bright white beveled subway tile, a Kasbah stone mosaic design above the range, and Calcutta gold quartz countertops beautifully contrast with the cabinetry, while the island, painted a dark hue, adds a furniture-like feel to the kitchen, allowing it to blend into the open floor plan of the home.
