Dazzling Functionality

Light and bright, this updated, two-toned kitchen is crisp, cheerful, and spacious. Maple cabinetry, painted a pale chai latte tone, wraps the room, efficiently using space with cabinets reaching to the ceiling. The island, and a built-in china cabinet displaying glassware through lovely X mullion doors, are both painted a grounding slate-gray shade. The island’s shiplap accents and stainless steel posts add a fun, contemporary twist, while the flat-panel style cabinetry doors pair with the brushed nickel hardware for a more transitional look. The perimeter cabinetry is topped by a soapstone countertop for a contrasting appearance, and the island features a beautifully veined quartzite. The backsplash boasts multi-colored hand-painted porcelain tiles that add visual interest in a quatrefoil pattern. Stainless steel appliances and a brushed stainless vent hood with chrome accents pick up light from the dazzling dropped pendant lights over the island.
