It’s been said that it’s all in the details, and that’s certainly the case for this inviting master suite. Upon first glance, the brightly lit room conveys a cozy farmhouse feel due to its wooden furniture and floors, soft textures, and distinctive patterns. The walls are swathed in a soothing shade of blue, while pops of gold, red, and blue can be found throughout the room – playing off of an art piece hanging just above the king-size bed. Red is central to the design of the room’s floor-length patterned drapery, which puts a contemporary spin on the farmhouse look while adding dimension and a touch of drama. Closer inspection of the master suite will reveal such charming details as Greek key trim on the bed skirt, custom gathered shades on the buffet lamps, and feminine tassels on a vintage-inspired throw pillow – elements that work together to ensure the room’s down-home, farm-like feel.
