Designed for intimate gatherings and conversation, this transitional dining room emphasizes clean lines while maintaining an easy atmosphere. Serving as the centerpiece of the room is the round dining table made of solid mango wood in a light, natural finish, chosen for its durability. Surrounding the table are six straight-back dining chairs in complementary wood with a soft, neutral upholstery to create a comfortable place for entertaining and lingering. The table rests on a round transitional rug in muted tones that complement the wall color and add another textile to soften the space. A gold geometric drum chandelier casts warm light over the room which is brightened further by natural light streaming in from the plantation-style shutters and a pair of ceramic lamps on the wooden sideboard. Plants and natural accents scattered throughout the room make the space cheerful and cozy, and the large rope mirror both draws the eye and opens up the room.
