A custom ottoman, covered in a linen Spaniel print, is positioned in front of the hand-carved mahogany fireplace mantel. An oil painting above the mantel is a blend of many colors, helping to achieve an authentic palette of blues, yellows, soft rose, and reds. Large Chippendale wing chairs, upholstered in a gold and cream animal print, are accented with silk buffalo-checked lumbar pillows. Oriental lanterns, placed strategically on a mantel, provide candlelit illumination. Custom silk draperies with festoons enhance the windows, creating visual comfort while letting the natural light and sunshine enter the room. A baby grand piano completes the sophisticated look.
