English Elegance

Custom Kitchen

This spacious kitchen, with its thoughtful approach to color and texture, exemplifies a beauty derived from function, which is central to a traditional English style. Limestone floors, oak beams, and un-lacquered brass plumbing fixtures contribute to the old-world charm, while perimeter quartzite countertops are a durable option. The same Perla Venato brushed quartzite found along the walls forms a full slab backsplash and serves as a major focal point. This backsplash eloquently sets the stage for a Lacanche range, which hails from France and is complete with five gas burners, an induction cooking panel, and two ovens for a variety of cooking styles. Steps away is the room’s Negresco honed granite island, which offers up added character with its ogee edge detail. Glazed brick walls round out the space and add to the contemporary color palette, resulting in a refreshed take on a traditional English style.
