Modern elements come to play in this exquisite powder room that oozes glamour at every turn. Brightening the space are bronze finishes incorporated throughout, from the towel rings to the mirror frame – the bronze is especially striking against the metallic color palette established by the walls and porcelain tile flooring. Of particular note is the statement wall of sea shell tile that runs up to meet the painted ceiling, which features a recessed exhaust fan and lighting, along with a simple millwork detail. The ceiling, along with the room’s trim, boasts a pearlized finish, giving the room depth and warmth. A sleek wooden vanity featuring furniture-style feet keeps things feeling cozy and intimate, while a vessel sink effortlessly enhances the elegance of the room. The unusual side placement of the sink’s faucet is an artistic choice, and artistic flair is also at the heart of the wall sconces’ design. With the absence of a window, the need for plenty of light is critical, which is why two lighting levels – including recessed cans and a central fixture on the ceiling – work with the sconces to ensure a dazzling space.
