Functionality, durability, and timelessness were guiding principles in the construction of this modern farmhouse. The four-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bath residence caters to a young and active family with open and flexible spaces, convenient and attractive storage solutions, and robust materials. Easily the hardest-working room in the home, the centrally located great room is primed for gathering. Its graciously proportioned windows, soaring ceilings, and neutrally painted walls allow an abundance of natural light to bounce about the space. The fireplace’s finish, which matches that of the exterior rock, unifies the interior space with the adjacent outdoor living area. In the kitchen, more than 70 square feet of clear counter space, as well as ample cabinet space and under-counter seating, ensure less clutter and more conversation. The light and airy master bathroom works to facilitate rest and renewal with its massive pass-through shower and soaking tub, each accented with soft gold fixtures reminiscent of other enduring finishes found throughout the home.
