Sophisticated Symmetry

1 Ceramic tile flooring in a light gray provides an ideal backdrop to the custom Wood-Mode maple cabinetry with inset doors and modern hardware. The vintage gray of the perimeter cabinets complements the darker gray of the island, both working to set off the granite countertops and backsplash.

2 Multiple work stations, two sinks, and a pot filler over the stove make prep and cleanup a breeze.

3 Perfect for entertaining, the 48-inch Sub-Zero refrigerator includes a glass door, Sub-Zero 24-inch refrigerator drawers, and Scotsman nugget ice machine.

4 Top of the line appliances include the Wolf M Series oven, Wolf convection steam oven, Wolf warming drawer, 48-inch Wolf range top with grill and griddle,
and Wolf hood vent.

5 Storage features include several pullout drawers, built-in spice racks, knife drawers, and a pullout recycling center and trash bin.

6 Hafele Integrated LED lighting is built into drawers, inside cabinets, and underneath cabinetry, illuminating storage and workspaces.

Industrial Chic

1 Custom gray-painted cabinets in a clean and classic style create a serene backdrop and set off the honey bronze-colored hardware and striking herringbone-patterned stone tile wall.

2 Three-inch charcoal black concrete countertops surround the Thermador 48-inch dual-fuel professional range with steam and grill. The oven boasts a steam and convection combination oven, full-sized convection oven, and warming drawer.

3 The cabinetry surrounding the range provides deep drawers for pot and pan storage, a pullout cabinet for spices and cooking oils, a tray-divider cabinet, and drawer dividers to keep cooking utensils organized and out of sight.

4 The island, topped by reclaimed wood from the Chattanooga Knitting Mill, is the center of the kitchen, providing space for prep and cleanup by the farmhouse sink and seating for dining and enter-
taining on the opposite side. The island also boasts a built-in beverage fridge, microwave oven, and dishwasher.

5 The wall of cabinetry hides a Thermador refrigerator behind custom cabinet panels to achieve a floor-to-ceiling look. Above, wire mesh grilles accent the mullion door display cabinets.

6 Brass open shelves on either side of the wood range hood further enhance the unique modern style of this kitchen. While adding a light, airy feel, they also keep often-used items readily at hand.

Streamlined & Stunning

1 A center island of hickory wood is built to custom specifications for efficient use of space, and stained in a custom “Driftwood” hue to perfectly complement this serene lake home. An oversized Calacatta Gold quartz counter serves as an extended work space and for additional seating.

2 Another smart space-saver that streamlines the workflow is a gourmet-sized refrigerator, built into the custom cabinetry.

3 A unique, weathered finish brick tile backsplash coordinates perfectly with the home’s main fireplace, while creating a stunning counter to ceiling visual.

4 An induction cooktop is a speedy and safe alternative to burners. Underneath, a mounted, electric oven also works as a dehydrator and convection oven.

5 The Thermador dishwasher speeds through loads with strength and near silence. And a built-in microwave drawer is hidden in the island for easy access and a clean appearance.

6 Smart use of space in the white painted base cabinets allows for minimal wall cabinets and the decorative use of floating shelves. The 24-inch, custom-built base cabinetry includes a blind corner pullout, utensil storage pullout, vertical spice rack pullout, garbage pail pullout, a lazy susan, and six oversized drawers for ultimate storage space.

Polished & Provencial

1
Custom cabinetry in a light cream with a light brown finish complemented by reclaimed brick tile creates a French provencial feel to this charming kitchen. Perimeter and under-island cabinetry form a compact, efficient footprint, and allow a cook to have everything they need within a couple steps.

2 Lots of contiguous countertop space accommodates multiple cooks, and a large island adds even more space for entertaining with seating for two at the bar top. Black granite countertops are not only beautiful but are also durable, perfect for a well-loved kitchen.

3 A single-bowl sink allows for easy cleanup of large serving dishes and cookware, and a single handle faucet is easy enough to operate even if both hands are messy.

4 All Wolf appliances provide professional-level cooking and refrigeration, and a custom copper hood offers great ventilation and the perfect complement to the French provencial décor.

5 Under-cabinet lighting illuminates the workspace, while an antique-finished chandelier adds to the old-world charm of the kitchen.

6 Open, decorative cabinets are perfect for displaying personal items, while a built-in wine rack stores and shows off the latest vintage. Nearby, an ice maker and trash pullout in close proximity make for an efficient ‘bar nook.’

Rustic Warmth

1
Perimeter custom maple cabinetry features malt brown and warm red colors with a black glaze, creating both rustic appeal and accessible storage. A center island adds prep space and boosts ease and functionality.

2 A walk-in pantry boasts more cabinet storage, a utility closet for cleaning supplies, a built-in refrigerator, a custom coffee bar, and a beautiful repurposed barn-wood wine rack. The four-door refrigerator has a lower right door that can be either a freezer or refrigerator.

3 Textured leathered granite countertops add bits of red, brown, and gray, bringing the color scheme together while brightening up the warm space. A reclaimed pine bar top runs above the granite, tying in the rustic with the classic.

4 An oven with French doors not only adds class but also enables easy access to the oven and maximizes counter and island space. Nearby, an induction cooktop provides efficiency and easy cleanup.

5 Punched copper panels in the cabinets above the cooktop, along with the original hand-hewn beams and wood paneling bring together the rustic design.

6 Custom-fitted LED lighting under the cabinets has touch-less switches, allowing you to easily turn lights on while cooking without touching the switch.

Modern Functionality

1
White, high-gloss cabinetry was chosen for its reflective capabilities. An interior kitchen with no real window, the goal was to keep finishes bright. Running floor-to-ceiling, the cabinetry makes the low-ceilinged space seem more expansive. Strategically choosing polished Macassar cabinets with a vertical woodgrain draws the eye up.

2 The kitchen was zoned into two distinct areas – one for cooking, and one for entertaining. On the right side, the ovens, sink, and cooktop are compacted together. On the left is the breakfast table, TV, storage space, and wet bar.

3 Since the kitchen has no windows, four light tube skylights were placed in the ceiling to let natural light in. With a recessed-lighting look, it brightens the space in an unobtrusive way and diminishes the need to flip on the light switch on sunny days.

4 A waterfall countertop on the island extends to the floor on both sides. Made of white quartz, it has superior durability – you can chop veggies right onto it. It’s also impervious to stains and stands up to hot kitchen tools, making the island a sturdy, durable workhorse.

5 The wet bar features a back panel of silver-leaf glass for a shimmering look. With plenty of display space and a monochromatic color scheme, bright glasses and bottles stand out.

6 The refrigerator and dishwasher are concealed to blend into the white cabinetry, while other appliances are built right in. The kitchen features two confection ovens, plus a steamer oven for healthy cooking, and a microwave drawer placed below the island countertop.
