Adjacent to a private lake, this home’s infinity pool feels indulgent and secluded. The pool features a sweeping vanishing edge that spills over to a catch basin – creating the illusion that the pool spills into the lake beyond. The basin presides over an arching fire pit surrounded by chaise lounges, providing the perfect perch for socializing at all hours of the day. On one side of the pool, an elevated spa with split-faced travertine adds depth and dimension, and on the other, a shallow sun shelf gives guests the best seat in the backyard under an oversized umbrella. Here, three bubblers have LED fittings to offer a multi-color water feature, helping the pool transform from day to evening. The lighter shades of the tumbled travertine – arranged in a French pattern – that surrounds the pool create a beautiful contrast to the darker flagstone that comprises the home’s exterior.
