Kara Powers Charapata’s Oreo Dessert
Kara Powers Charapata’s Oreo Dessert is a rich, layered treat that combines crushed Oreos, creamy Cool Whip, and chocolate pudding for a decadent dessert. With its easy preparation and irresistible flavor, it’s perfect for serving 10-12 people at any gathering or special occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 (15oz) package Oreos
- ½ cup butter, melted
- 12 oz. Cool Whip, divided
- 1 (8oz.) block cream cheese
- ½ cup Powdered sugar
- 1 large package chocolate pudding
Instructions
- Crush cookies and mix with melted butter.
- Reserve ½ cup for later use.
- Press cookies into 9x13 pan.
- Mix ½ cup Cool Whip with cream cheese and powdered sugar.
- Beat with mixer until smooth; then, spread over cookies. Mix as directed for the chocolate pudding.
- Let cool for 10 minutes then spread over Cool Whip.
- Top the pudding with the rest of the Cool Whip and sprinkle the remaining cookies on top. I like to add extra Cool Whip and cookies on top of mine.
