The color scheme for the bath was fashioned around the granite countertops, which are original to the home. Travertine floors maintain a soothing backdrop for the warmer reds, browns and yellows that complete the cozy retreat.
This master bath is designed to create a warmly sophisticated retreat. Deep reds complement the walls painted in “Restrained Gold” from Sherwin-Williams. The deeply textured granite countertops were original to the space and provide a pleasing visual break between the dark cherry cabinets and the vanity mirror. The two-person shower, which was walled in with glass blocks, was opened up and covered in muted tile and clear glass doors. A custom tile design inside the shower is tasteful and elegant. An arched alcove provides the perfect spot to settle into a warm and relaxing bath.
