Modern Classic

Modern Classic

The juxtaposition between classic and modern aesthetics shines in this living room, creating a space that’s warm and inviting yet clean and contemporary. Light gray walls serve as a neutral backdrop, while built-in bookshelves in slate gray and a custom reclaimed wood mantel anchor the room and allow space to display personality. One of the year’s hottest trends, adornments in metallics and neutrals, acts as a vessel for pops of greenery. Above the mantel, an oversized mirror enhances the room and adds light, while its frame ties the design together with color, texture, and finish. Wooden beams across the ceiling lengthen the space while adding visual interest. To round out the space, a plush, upholstered sofa mirrors two wooden-frame chairs ornamented with textural, patterned throw pillows for the ultimate in comfortable living.
