Sitting on a five-acre lot by the water, this modern farmhouse stunner brings the outdoors in with natural elements galore. Stacked stone, prominent in the living room as well as the kitchen backsplash, provides texture and dimension, working alongside wood accents like the exposed ceiling beams to add warmth to the color scheme. Built-in shelving and a group of quartz countertops in the main living area up the ante in terms of sophistication. The neutral hues used throughout the open-concept interiors are visually dramatic and beautifully complemented by industrial features – including matte-black surfaces and iron light fixtures – that dial up the contemporary vibe. The modern feel is perhaps best exhibited in the streamlined master bathroom, complete with a freestanding tub, frameless shower, and double vanity. Meanwhile, an open porch at the back of the home, accessed through a set of French doors in the living room, offers a peaceful respite to enjoy the surrounding landscape.
