Our Time has spent its entire life housed at the Chattanooga Yacht Club (CYC), a tradition that continues under the ownership of Chase and Casey Marsh.

“It was an exciting moment when we purchased the vessel and it could remain at the club,” shares Casey. “We have multiple members and their families that come up to us to share their memories and stories about this yacht. It is pretty special when boating can bring different types of people together – all over their love of the water.”
Casey grew up on ski boats and motor yachts while Chase enjoyed fishing and spending quiet days on the lake with his grandfather – two different paths that led to the same deep connection to the water.
“Once Casey and I started dating and she brought me around motor yachts and the CYC, I knew this was something I wanted to be a part of,” adds Chase. “It was such a special club for her and her family, and then for us to make our own memories there – I just knew I had to carry on the tradition.”

Now married for six years, the Marshes spent many of their newly-wed Saturdays cruising around the lake in a smaller, runabout boat. However, they knew they eventually wanted boating days to turn into boating weekends with a yacht that allowed for overnight voyages. In 2022, Chase became one of the youngest members to join the CYC, ensuring the tradition of enjoying life on the lake is carried on to the next generation.
Enter Our Time – a vintage 1986 Trojan 460, complete with twin 454 engines.
“The boat was named by its previous owners,” says Chase. “When we purchased it, we felt like the name fit us perfectly and how we enjoy spending ‘our time’ together – no pun intended. It is also a maritime superstition that renaming a boat is bad luck, so we wanted to steer clear of that!”
While vintage, Our Time has been refitted with new electronics, speakers, and underwater lights, as well as 200 gallons of fresh onboard water. As for the inside, guests will find a thoughtfully updated cabin, making time on the water feel both relaxed and refined.

“We completely revamped the entire interior of the cabin while preserving the rich wood tones throughout to keep it traditional,” shares Casey. “We wanted the interior to feel cozy but with more of a modern coastal style.”
In the galley, a scalloped turquoise backsplash and white quartz countertop introduce a bright, coastal-inspired contrast to the warm wood tones. Elsewhere in the cabin, custom commercial-grade wallpaper, custom drapes with geometric patterns, and dark blue accent chairs continue the calming, water-inspired palette.
Casey adds: “Everything was made just for this boat!”

At the heart of the boat, Chase enjoys spending time in the cockpit and the ability to grab a snack or make a quick sandwich while just steps away from the water. However, when they’re hosting, the back of the boat is the place to be, as the Marshes enjoy hanging out with friends and taking in the scenery.

“Boating and the Chattanooga Yacht Club are rooted in tradition and community. It’s about family, dock dinners, boat rides, and late sunsets.” – Chase Marsh

Other favorite memories on the boat are tied to football season.
“I am a big Tennessee Vols fan, so it only makes sense that some of our favorite memories on the boat are cruising up the Tennessee River on a crisp fall day, headed to Knoxville to be a part of Vol Navy,” shares Chase. “We have made this 170-mile trip two years in a row, and there is nothing like pulling up and seeing the river lined with boats that are decked out in orange and white.”
While Our Time has been the backdrop for countless memories, it’s also become a stepping stone toward something new. As they begin the search for the yacht’s next owner, the couple is already imagining what the next adventure might look like.
“We look forward to dreaming even bigger!” finishes Chase.
