Outdoor Escape: Panoramic Perspective

Panoramic Perspective

Photography by Ryan Dugger/Creative Revolver

This poolscape is all about crisp lines and unhindered views. Moving from the house onto the patio, the first thing to catch your eye is the arresting scenery, unencumbered by railings or landscaping, and enhanced by the vanishing edge pool. The challenges of building a pool on the edge of the brow were solved by building it directly into the poured wall to give it a true vanishing edge look that spills over a natural stone wall into the catch basin with travertine coping. The travertine decking and coping are visually striking without being distracting in a rich brown noche color that complements the exterior design of the home. Multiple seating options, realistic artificial turf, and three bubblers along the bench contribute to the overall relaxing feel of the space and accentuate the view. This understated but elegant design offers a truly panoramic look at the valley below the home.
