This backyard retreat brings the beauty of a hidden lagoon to a free-form poolscape. Designed to emulate a natural body of water, the pool, spa, and surrounding landscaping favor organic shapes and lush finishes. Adding to the effect, the pool and spa interiors feature a dark pebble finish and natural stone coping with hammer-chiseled edges. These extra-wide stone slabs comprising the pool’s perimeter were hand-cut and shaped on site for a perfect fit. The width allows for ample walking space, helping to shape the flow of the recreational area between the house, sun shelf, and other outdoor living spaces. For an additional rustic flair, the spa facing features dry-stacked Tennessee fieldstone and a gracefully cascading waterfall feature. From poolside to patio, this intentional design maximizes the backyard space to create a stunning and secluded sanctuary
