Party Perfect

This large living area had too much space to promote a cozy and intimate environment. Interior designer Haskell Matheny opted to split the room into separate sections, creating a hotel lounge feel that’s ideal for conversations and parties. Three distinct seating areas break up the space – each has different chairs but the same sofa and pillow arrangements. A built-in banquette is tucked into a corner nook. The pop of green cushion fabric, along with the hand-stenciled wallpaper, makes for an interesting look and adds additional seating to the space. Gold accents and exotic-looking décor in blues and greens tie each area together to create a cohesive air.
