Polished Perfection

This chic kitchen pairs white shaker cabinets with a hickory wood island and hood, resulting in a classic modern farmhouse look. Between the island and L-shaped cabinetry, ample storage for cooking essentials is available, allowing for the granite countertops to maintain their pristine appearance. Flush-mount appliances contribute to the polished aesthetic, as do the coordinating panels covering the French door refrigerator. Subway tile is the obvious choice for the backsplash given its clean lines and modest presence, save for a patch of patterned accent tile directly above the range – lending texture and character to the space. Adding even more visual interest is the kitchen’s brick accent wall, complete with floating shelves and modern lighting fixtures. Not only does the brick help to break up this large room, it also serves as an eclectic counterpart to the island and wood floors and is yet another nod to the modern farmhouse style.
