This master bathroom bypasses bold hues in favor of the polished, crisp simplicity of white – giving the space a restful atmosphere and clean look. Transitional in style, the bathroom mixes traditional touches, such as the square raised-panel cabinetry and plantation shutters, with more modern features seen in the freestanding tub and frameless shower door. Cabinetry is abundant here, as a tall linen cabinet with furniture-style feet accompanies the room’s his and hers vanity. Adding to the brightness of the space are three shaded wall sconces over the vanity, which coordinate with the cabinetry’s brushed nickel pulls. Opulent marble tile with gray veining runs the length of the room and up the shower walls, while smaller, basketweave porcelain mosaic tile is introduced in the shower floor and niche for a striking effect. This relaxing retreat’s dark countertop and shower seat, complete with a marble effect, offer just enough contrast to allow all of the white elements to really pop.
