Cobalt’s 2014 R5 is sophistication in the form of a mid-sized runabout. Its smooth, quiet ride combined with its exquisite hand-craftsmanship from stern to bow provides the ultimate experience of performance, comfort, and style.

Specs and Features
Just under 26 feet in total length, including its standard swim platform at the stern, the R5 is designed to support up to 14 people. The boat can be equipped with various Cobalt-offered power selections ranging from 300 HP to 430 HP.
Among the R5’s many high-end features, perhaps the most notable is the handcrafted exterior design. The boat’s structural hull, which is hand-laid and Kevlar™ reinforced, is encased in a barrier coat exclusive to Cobalt that acts as a protective seal. The design maximizes sound dampening capacity and vibration resistance.
The interior of the R5 includes wraparound seating and a twice-wide passenger seat in order to accommodate a large group with comfort. The standard interior is also equipped with several features that bolster functionality and luxury including a rear sunpad with an adjustable back rest, a sundeck convertible lounger, bow walk-thru doors, double-needle stitching, and a wood dash and trim package.
The R5 can be customized to best suit your needs, so its opportunities are seemingly endless.
