Richly Elegant

A rich, bold color scheme combines with antique furniture to create a traditionally chic dining area. Crisp, white wainscoting and a coffered ceiling lay the foundation for a luxurious and stylish design. Wrapping the room in elegance, a damask wallpaper shines in rich red and shimmery gold, while a carved 18th century dining suite is embellished by red and gold upholstered seat cushions. The windows are adorned with valances in swags and cascades, trimmed in gold-toned fringe, further reinforcing the traditional elegance of the room. Lamps, accessories, and furniture hardware pick up the gold tones, along with an old-world style brass chandelier. Matching gold lamps on the console add a hint of contemporary flair in their sculptural forms. Lastly, a hand-knotted Persian rug picks up all the colors in the room, cohesively tying it together.
