This master suite has the look and feel of a luxurious mountain cabin. A spacious walk-in closet with sliding barn style doors features an island with drawers for storage. Both the closet and the bedroom walls are lined with horizontal planks of a rustic, antique heart pine. Brown and turquoise are used as accent colors on upholstery, drapery, bed linens, and in the hand-dyed natural jute rug. The tall custom-designed headboard has a turquoise leather band with western decorative oversized nail heads surrounding the main section, which is covered in an exotic cow hide. The bed is covered in a paisley spread and at the foot is a daybed covered in a combination of colors, fabrics, and patterns. The room’s chandelier is made from strands of turquoise stones. On either side of the stone fireplace are wooden, distressed Aegean colored cabinets which tie in with colors from the bed, rug, and drapes.
