Between the decorations and gatherings with friends and family, it’s hard not to feel joyous during those special times of year … and then there’s the food and drinks – festive and tasty tokens that take the celebration to a whole new level. Here, area establishments share several show-stopping cocktails so that you too can impress guests with your cheerful creations.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz. Chattanooga Whiskey Cask 111
  • 1 oz. Guinness syrup
  • 0.75 oz. pomegranate juice
  • 2 dashes Fee Brothers Aztec Chocolate Bitters
  • 1 dash cardamom

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a shaking tin.
  • Add ice and shake for 30 seconds to combine.
  • Fine strain into a coupe glass and garnish with a clover or mint leaves.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 oz. Jamison Black Barrel Irish Whiskey
  • 1 oz. Chattanooga Whiskey 91
  • 0.75 oz. nocino
  • 0.25 oz. chai reduction
  • egg white for cold option

Instructions
 

For the chai reduction:

  • Add 8 oz. of liquid chai concentrate and 5 oz. of gold turbinado or demerara sugar to a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring regularly.
  • Reduce heat and allow to cool.
  • This will make enough syrup for several cocktails.

For the cocktail:

  • This cocktail can be enjoyed hot or cold.
  • To enjoy hot, combine whiskeys, nocino, and chai reduction.
  • Warm via your preferred method and serve in a mug.
  • To enjoy cold, add whiskeys and nocino to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake to combine.
  • Strain into a coupe glass. Dry shake (without ice) an egg white and chai reduction and strain on top of existing mixture.
  • Garnish with a cinnamon tincture.
