Traditional and Warm

Sometimes when designing a kitchen, there’s no better inspiration than a timeless classic. That’s what Becky Worley of Classic Cabinetry was asked to create in this warm, traditional space. With help from interior designer Dolores Wolfe, Worley chose cherry cabinetry with Charleston Brown stain and espresso highlights that play off other elements throughout the home. Clean-lined cabinetry, with brushed nickel knobs, ties into the stainless steel appliances. The center island, made of maple and finished in Bavarian cream with a mocha highlight, has a furniture feel with open storage on each side. A built-in warming drawer adds extra function. Typhoon Bordeaux granite countertops mix tones of dark brown with beige, cream, and gray. Adding functionality to the space, a butler’s pantry leads into the dining room and features glass-front cabinetry for both the display and easy-access of fine china.
