Transitional Provincial

With French country transitional styling, this master bedroom creates a cohesively soothing theme. Awash with muted florals, soft wood tones, and natural textiles, the room feels relaxed and approachable. However, with lush draperies, fine details, and a modern antiqued quality, it retains elegance. The simplicity and lightly feminine flair contribute to a romantic air, while a warm, earthy gray wall tone keeps the space grounded. The same fabric used on the custom-designed valance and double-width drapes is repeated on the swivel chairs and accent pillows on the bed. The bold French medallion pattern is a standout in this room with no other competing patterns pulling focus. The bed is covered in a soft gray duvet, accented with charcoal-toned touches like the quilted coverlet, floral ruffled edging, and king-sized shams. Maintaining serene symmetry, two French hand-carved night stands are topped with weighty textured ceramic lamps.
