Transitional Treat

Luxury Baths

Photography by Creative Revolver

With its modern lighting and more traditional cabinetry and flooring, this master bathroom is a lesson in the timelessness of the transitional style. The inset cabinetry is swathed in a custom gray paint finish, and its chrome Emtek pulls and knobs are a perfect match to the fixtures found throughout the space. The combination of Calacatta Laza quartz countertops and Bianco Carrara honed marble tile, which is peppered with black slate dots, is a classic choice that infuses the space with gorgeous sophistication. At the back of the room, a large walk-in shower – featuring more of the eye-catching marble tilework – is upstaged only by breathtaking views of the Tennessee River seen from its oversized picture window. This bathroom’s pièce de résistance, however, is its floating wall taking up residence in the center of the space – one side provides a dressing table with ample storage, while the other provides privacy for soaking in the freestanding tub.
