For owners David and Denise Alcantara, Chattown Catering started as a way for them to combine their love for culinary excellence and family. In the catering industry for a decade now, their business has become the event planning and catering service of their dreams. “We wanted to bring a taste of New Orleans to Chattanooga,” Denise Alcantara says. “We both love to cook – and of course, love to eat. This business has given us an opportunity to work together as a family.”

Chattown Catering specializes in full-service event catering. For large and small weddings alike, the business can accommodate any special dietary needs, and extensive menu options make it easy for couples to customize the perfect menu for their big day. The catering company’s sister company, Chattown Premier Event Services, offers additional services such as stunning décor packages, bartending, and wedding planning.

Chattown Catering is set apart by the Alcantaras’ passion for the highest-quality food. “David and I are both from New Orleans, which gives us a very unique perspective on food,” Alcantara explains. “We believe fresh is always better, so we prefer to use fresh ingredients and make our own stocks and sauces from scratch.” From tender roasts and indulgent pasta to mouthwatering hors d’oeuvres and flavorful vegetable sides, Chattown serves it all.

The company is also known for its above-and-beyond service. For each event, servers may be provided to add an extra layer of ease for guests. “Our staff sets up, breaks down, and assists with maintaining the cleanliness of the venue during the event in addition to serving the buffet,” Alcantara says. Professional, experienced, and personable, the Chattown Catering team is committed to bringing dream weddings to life.
