On April 30, the local chapter of the American Lung Association will host its 28th Annual Women of Distinction Awards Luncheon, celebrating the lives and work of 10 local women who have distinguished themselves within their family, career and community. All proceeds from the event go to funding medical research, advocacy, and education for the American Lung Association, both here and nationwide. This month, a preview party was held at One Northshore in preparation for the event.
