  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 2 packets ranch dressing mix
  • 2 packets taco seasoning
  • 32 oz. chicken broth
  • 14.5-oz. can tomato sauce
  • 29 oz. diced tomatoes with chiles
  • 14.5-oz. can black beans
  • 14.5-oz. can corn
  • Tortilla chips, sour cream, cheddar cheese, jalapeño, and cilantro, for topping (optional)


  • In a large skillet, sauté onion for 2 minutes. Add the ground beef, and brown the meat.
  • Drain browned ground beef and onion to remove the excess fat. Add ground beef mixture and all other ingredients (do not drain corn or black beans) to the slow cooker.
  • Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6 hours. Serve in a bowl with your favorite toppings.
