Hummus

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups garbanzo beans (cooked or raw)
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 Tbsp. cumin
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • ¼ cup sesame paste
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • ½ cup water

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients, except water, to a food processor.
  • Start to blend while slowly adding water until the hummus has achieved a creamy consistency.
  • If desired, garnish with paprika, olive oil, Kalamata olives, and parsley.
  • Serve with warm pita.
