Spicy Creole Compound Butter Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 oz. anchovy paste
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon zest
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh flat leaf parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp. smoked paprika
  • 3 small garlic cloves, finely grated
  • 1 Tbsp. Creole seasoning
  • 2 Tbsp. Crystal Hot Sauce
  • 2 tsp. kosher salt

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl. Using an electric mixer beat the butter mixture until well combined. Set aside.
  • Spread butter on a piece of wax paper. Roll it into a log and refrigerate until cold. Keep refrigerated for seven days or freeze for later use.
