Soft and Subtle

The goal for this master bedroom, designed by Alice Davenport, was to create a quiet and soothing place to retreat from the hectic life of parenting. A calming blue shade coats the walls, with tones of grays and tans incorporated into the room’s fabrics. Full curtains in a geometric pattern flank the bed, and soft solids were selected for the headboard, bed skirt, and club chairs. An antiqued chandelier provides soft lighting and a sense of serenity and peace.
